Karen is Elk City UMC’s Financial Secretary. She has been making deposits and recording church giving since 2013. She values loving people and enjoys her work at the church as it gives her many opportunities to spread love with the people who come and go. She encounters many throughout the week as her office is a “high traffic area” of the church. When not at the church, she enjoys being with her family and football. Karen loves working with the United Methodist Women and supporting the many ministry projects ongoing at Elk City UMC. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:31, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Her biggest prayer is to know that her children and extended family are living their lives for the Lord.
